This is a research position to contribute to the improvement of peace and stability in a specific region.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced consultant to lead an endline study for a project that aims to strengthen the rights claiming of women in all their intersecting and diverse identities towards inclusive, gender-responsive, and accountable governance in a region. The consultant will be responsible for developing a detailed work plan, collecting data, and analyzing results to assess the extent to which the project has achieved its intended outcomes and impact.

  • The consultant will conduct interviews with key stakeholders, collect and analyze data, and develop a comprehensive report outlining the findings and recommendations.
  • The consultant will work closely with the project team to ensure that the study is conducted in a timely and effective manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the consultant should have:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, international development, or gender studies.
  • At least 5 years of experience in conducting research and analysis in the field of gender, peace and security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze large datasets.
