Peacebuilding Consultant

Oxfam seeks a peacebuilding consultant to support the Women's Empowerment for Leadership in Development and Peace Project. The project aims to improve conditions for peace and stability by strengthening the rights claiming of women in all their intersecting and diverse identities towards inclusive, gender-responsive, and accountable governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct an endline study to assess the extent to which the project has achieved its intended outcomes and impact.
  • Develop an inception report outlining the consultant's understanding of the endline study's rationale, objectives, methods, and other parameters.
  • Create an executive summary, brief background on the project, concise discussion on the endline study – rationale, objectives, and methods, key findings, and recommendations in the endline research report.
  • Prepare a presentation deck highlighting the key findings and present it to partners and stakeholders during the sensemaking.
  • Produce an endline results brief providing a brief backgrounder on the project and baseline research, outline its key findings, and highlight recommendations or implications for programming, policy influencing, and future learning and/or research initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English language.
