Financial Operations Manager

A seasoned finance professional is needed to oversee the financial operations of an organization.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), month-end close, general ledger management, tax filings, and audit preparation.
- They will ensure that financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP.
- This individual will also design, implement, and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and financial processes.
- Additionally, they will manage and mentor a high-performing accounting team; ensuring clear delegation, performance tracking, and professional development.
- The successful candidate will lead the preparation and execution of audits, liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- They will drive process improvements and standardization across the finance function.
- Maintaining working capital needs, particularly in high-volume environments, will also be a key responsibility.
- Collaboration with other departments will be necessary to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking, with a focus on process improvement and collaboration across departments.
Key Requirements:
- 12–15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
- Strong experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
- SUCCESSFUL track record in leading accounting teams and managing people in a remote setting.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a process-driven mindset.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
