Job Description

As a seasoned accounting professional, you will oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. You will be responsible for supervising and managing general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. They will also possess excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, they will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the general accounting functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing and reporting.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is highly preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
