Job Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple projects and entities. The Finance Manager will provide strategic support to the overall financial planning process, including budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of financial plans and budgets
  • Oversee bookkeeping, including transaction recording, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management
  • Ensure all ReliefWeb entities comply with relevant regulations
  • Manage governance, transparency, and reporting for our social business fund

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance frameworks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial management, accounting, or similar role
  • Experience working with NGOs, social enterprises, or donor-funded projects preferred
  • Advanced knowledge producing financial accounts to balance sheet and income statement level
  • Excellent analytical, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
