Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced financial operations specialist to join our clean energy team.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the sustainable energy sector while handling complex financial processes including fixed asset management, transaction reconciliation, and month-end closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage comprehensive accounts payable processes through Bill.com platform with approval workflows.
  • Handle accounts receivable operations and customer billing processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QuickBooks records for all financial transactions.
  • Create and maintain detailed depreciation schedules for high-value fixed assets ($50,000-$100,000 charging systems).
  • Execute thorough monthly closing procedures including fixed asset reporting.
  • Perform complex reconciliation of thousands of monthly transactions, matching software-generated reports against actual cash receipts.
  • Download, process, and analyze detailed transaction reports from charging network software.
  • Record and categorize high-volume transaction data with precision and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven proficiency with Bill.com platform for payables management.
  • Advanced Excel skills for handling large datasets, complex formulas, and sophisticated reconciliation processes.
  • Solid experience with fixed asset management and depreciation schedule creation.
  • Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably with US-based clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-volume transaction processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling thousands of data points.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet monthly closing deadlines.
  • Commitment to working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment without relying on AI tools for core accounting functions.
