Compliance Associate Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled Compliance Associate to join our team. As a Compliance Associate, you will be responsible for monitoring customer transactions, identifying risks and escalating concerns.

You will also verify customer information, ensure identities are accurate and authentic, and maintain detailed records of investigations and findings.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about regulatory requirements such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) and OFAC sanctions, and assist in preparing clear reports to regulatory authorities when required.

Your fresh perspective will help perform risk assessments, identify patterns that could indicate risks, and develop practical strategies to manage risks effectively.

You will also participate in engaging training sessions designed to boost your skills, including learning about AI-driven compliance tools, and eventually help train your colleagues, sharing your growing expertise.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor customer transactions to spot unusual activity
  • Verify customer information to ensure identities are accurate and authentic
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of investigations and findings
  • Learn about regulatory requirements and prepare reports to regulatory authorities
  • Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to manage risks effectively

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (business, finance, law, technology, or related)
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Interest in innovation and emerging technologies, especially AI
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
