Medical Biller with Strong Electronic Remit Experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Medical Billing Specialist with strong knowledge of electronic and paper remits, as well as billing appeals and collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing & Claims Management — Process and submit claims through Veradigm Allscripts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Payment Posting — Handle electronic and paper remits, input payments into deposit spreadsheets, and post payments from receipt books.
- Patient Billing Support — Respond to patient inquiries via billing emails, assist with credit card vendor payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Appeals & Collections — Manage billing appeals, call patients for payments due, and assist with collections.
- Clearinghouse Coordination — Work within Payer Path, ensuring claims flow from Practice Fusion to Veradigm Allscripts and then to Payer.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in medical billing.
- Strong knowledge of Veradigm Allscripts (Required).
- Experience with payment posting (electronic & paper remits).
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- English C1 level required (minimal accent); Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with Practice Fusion (EHR) is a plus – training provided.
