We are seeking an experienced financial professional to join our team as a Financial Operations & Reporting Specialist.

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records across multiple international entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions in complex multi-entity environments.
• Process and reconcile inter-company transactions and eliminations.
• Prepare detailed variance analyses and performance reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with SEC and public company disclosure requirements.

Regulatory & Industry-Specific Compliance Expertise

Our ideal candidate will have experience navigating complex accounting standards for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors.

• Navigate regulatory requirements for FDA, EMA, EFSA, Health Canada, and other agencies.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for audits and regulatory financial filings.
• Maintain cost accounting aligned with cGMP and product development standards.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and international tax compliance.

Cross-Functional & Global Coordination Expertise

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with department heads across R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and operations.

• Maintain compliance with local statutory reporting in multiple countries.
• Manage currency translation and hedging for multinational operations.
• Coordinate M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities.

Systems & Process Improvement Expertise

Our ideal candidate will have expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond system administration and power user.

• Serve as system administrator and power user for QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond.
• Support ERP integration, internal control improvements, and process documentation.
• Develop financial templates, dashboards, and comprehensive documentation.
• Coordinate with IT teams for system security and data backup.

Strategic & Analytical Support Expertise

As a strategic partner, you will lead budgeting and forecasting for complex product cycles.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for complex product cycles.
• Provide financial input for capital expenditures, equipment acquisition, and IP valuation.
• Assist in preparing investor relations materials and board presentation content.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience:

• 5–8 years of accounting experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or regulated industries.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and international accounting standards.
• Proven confidentiality and discretion with sensitive financial data.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across time zones in a remote setup.

Technical Proficiencies

Our ideal candidate will have expertise in the following technical areas:

• QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond (expert level)
• Microsoft 365 / Teams (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, InDesign; basic Photoshop/Illustrator)
• ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite (or similar)
• Financial reporting software: Hyperion, Cognos (or similar)
• Knowledge of tax prep, audit, and database tools (SQL preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

• MBA or Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced CPA specializations (e.g., tax, audit, international accounting).
• CIA or CFE certification.
• Experience in transfer pricing, IP accounting, or cost capitalization.
• Exposure to venture capital or public company environments.
• Six Sigma or Lean finance experience in manufacturing.
