This role is responsible for leading the design team, overseeing projects, and collaborating with consultants and clients.

  • A senior leader will be in charge of supervising and managing teams to ensure successful project execution.

  • The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of MEPF systems, architectural concepts, and design safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">

  • Schedule and lead technical discussions during design meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants.

    ">

  • Transform conceptual ideas into actionable design plans for MEPF systems in collaboration with CAD Operators and Architects.

    ">

  • Address high-level client inquiries and project team concerns within the scope of design engagement.

    ">

  • Meet with Engineering and Operations Teams to discuss project plans and progress.

    ">

  • Evaluate proposals from MEPF contractors and suppliers to create a shortlist of potential project partners.

    ">

  • Monitor the performance of vetted and onboarded MEPF subcontractors and materials suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

    ">

  • Oversee work of Architects, CAD Operators, and other site support members of the Design Team, providing feedback and mentorship.

    ">

  • Manage the priorities of the Design Team to ensure adequate time and attention are given to each design task.

    ">

  • Ensure achievement of project milestones of MEPF activities within approved timelines.

    ">

  • Approve designs prepared by the Design Team before presenting them to department heads and/or clients for final approval.

    ">

  • Stay updated on developments in MEPF systems, architectural concepts, and design safety and security standards.

Requirements:

  • Possesses Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) or Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) certification.

    ">

  • Has experience supporting and supervising construction projects.

    ">

  • Requires at least 10 years of working experience in the related field.

    ">

  • Necessary managerial experience in a similar function.
