We are seeking a skilled Geospatial Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data science group, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing custom scripts and applications to process geospatial data, automate transformation tasks, and manage data pipelines into databases.

This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives on solving real-world problems and creating solutions that drive operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and can work independently from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and scripts using Python to support operations workflows.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for spatial data into relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • Automate data transformation and processing pipelines to improve efficiency and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and support internal tools and workflows in both production and development environments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Hands-on experience with geospatial tools such as QGIS, PyQGIS, or GIS libraries like GDAL/OGR, Shapely, or GeoPandas.
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting and automating data processing tasks.
  • Proficient in SQL and relational databases, with a preference for PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
