Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of major projects and cross-team initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Backend Engineer with Elixir, proficiency with Postgres or similar databases, and experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Github, Jenkins, etc.). They will also have expertise in designing scalable, maintainable APIs and mentoring engineers.

As a Technical Lead, you will participate in product development, provide feedback, and suggest improvements. You will also conduct code reviews, contribute to the shared codebase, debug, solve issues, and propose platform improvements.

The successful candidate will be able to lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality, reliability, and scalability. They will also be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, and executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of major projects and cross-team initiatives

  • Maintain understanding of product and engineering domains
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to shared codebase
  • Debug, solve issues, and propose platform improvements

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Backend Engineer with Elixir
  • Proficiency with Postgres or similar databases
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Github, Jenkins, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

  • Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, React/Vue/Angular
