Key Roles:

We seek a seasoned OT platform expert to lead the deployment and maintenance of OpenShift clusters within on-prem production environments. This involves leveraging strong expertise in secure network architectures, including air-gapped and segmented networks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establishing OpenShift clusters in on-premises settings, adhering to stringent security protocols.
  • Designing secure tunneling solutions for deployment instructions across different network levels.
  • Developing strategies for secure code and artifact transfer within air-gapped environments.
  • Implementing Humanitec with ArgoCD for GitOps-style deployments while considering specific on-prem networking constraints.
  • Crafting accurate staging environments mirroring production systems in AWS.
  • Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to implement comprehensive defense-in-depth strategies.
  • Establishing robust change management processes for seamless on-prem deployments.
  • Designing backup and disaster recovery strategies tailored to each Purdue Model level.
Prioritized Skills:
  • Familiarity with the Purdue Model and ISA-95 standards.
  • Experience working in mining or heavy industry operational settings.
  • Awareness of industrial control systems and SCADA environments.
  • Understanding of redundant system design principles for high availability.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc.).
  • Expertise in separating staging and production environments in OT.
  • Comprehension of OT-specific security frameworks (IEC 62443).
  • Understanding of OT security requirements and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of container platforms, infrastructure, source control, monitoring, and security, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.
