Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer plays a crucial role in driving technical delivery leadership on client engagements and leading architectural design sessions. This individual will provide regular coaching and guidance to peers, manage client expectations, and cultivate a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance for junior team members
  • Serve as a coach in a player-coach model to support the upskilling of team members
  • Foster relationships between cloud infrastructure teams and outside of the practice
Delivery Support Activities
  • Function as technical delivery oversight with strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements
  • Partner with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones are aligned with a project plan
  • Have a strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and their implementation using IaC (Bicep or Terraform)
  • Assist in breaking through project blockers to help the delivery team reach billable targets
Business Development Leadership
  • Gain exposure to other 3Cloud offerings in different practice areas
  • Identify new Cloud Infrastructure & Security solution opportunities and raise them up
  • Lead and guide the infrastructure offerings committees that define standard offerings for our practice
Leveraging Factors That Help Grow Our Business
  • Reach trusted advisor status within multiple accounts to support the growth of existing customer accounts
  • Support teammates with unblocking engagements and remediating possible escalations
  • Create reusable artifacts and content to enable team members to bill their time to clients
