Job Overview

The role of a Senior Accountant is to ensure timely release and presentation of accurate financial reports to stakeholders, including management and government agencies.

  • To guarantee on-time delivery and presentation of fair financial reports to its stakeholders - management, government bodies such as the BIR, SEC, SSS, HDMF,
  • To assist in optimizing working capital and cash flow
  • To guarantee all accounts are up-to-date
  • To assist in preparing reports needed by the management
Detailed Responsibilities
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Financial management and optimization
  • To ensure correct reports and compliance with accounting standards
    • Bank reconciliation and review
    • Short-term or long-term cash investments
    • Due from/related parties transactions
    • Prepayments and other current assets
    • Other non-current assets - deposits, deferred tax assets
    • Investment properties
    • Property and equipment
    • Investment in shares of stocks
    • Investment in subsidiaries
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements
    • BIR- Income tax
    • BIR - EWT
    • BIR- VAT
    • BIR - WHT COMPENSATION
    • BIR -others
  • Review function
  • To ensure all transactions recorded from all source documents are reviewed prior to posting
  • To ensure that all transactions are posted every cut-off period
  • Filing of documents
    • Updating of permanent files for deposit documents
    • Updating of permanent files - ITR, FS received by SEC, GIS, AOI and by Laws
    • Filing and safekeeping of year-end working papers
