Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to define and drive the product vision for a leading parcel delivery price comparison platform. You will shape the overall product strategy, aligned with company goals and market opportunities, while fostering a collaborative culture that values innovation and initiative.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales/marketing, combined with technical fluency and commercial acumen. They should be able to effectively collaborate with tech teams, prioritise features, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

As a strategic and hands-on Product Owner, you will represent the product in engineering meetings, work closely with developers, and drive product decisions that balance commercial and technical needs.

Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Act as a bridge between sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support, balancing commercial and technical needs.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Represent product in engineering meetings, working closely with developers to prioritise features and ensure timely delivery.
  • Market & Customer Insight: Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and shape features.
  • Go-to-Market Partnership: Work with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and positioning.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Define KPIs, analyse usage metrics, and optimise the product based on insights.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent English: Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Experience: 5+ years in product management/ownership, ideally within SaaS, eCommerce, logistics, or marketplaces.
  • Technical Fluency: Strong experience working with engineering teams, understanding software architecture, APIs, and development workflows.
  • Commercial Acumen: Background in sales/marketing, with proven ability to align product strategy with revenue growth and customer needs.
  • Leadership: Ability to influence, inspire, and build consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Execution: Proven track record of delivering complex digital products from concept through to launch and growth.
  • Analytical & Strategic: Data-driven mindset with ability to zoom out on vision while drilling down into detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, representing product both internally and externally.
