Job Summary

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be working closely with clients to support their business and manage various tasks.

  • Process financial statements for lodgement with the Australian Tax Office.
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements and Installment Activity Statements for lodgement.
  • Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; prepare a trial balance; reconcile entries.
  • Prepare private tax returns, trust, partnership tax returns, and End of year compliance jobs.
  • Experienced with Division 7a loans.
  • Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and update tax provision schedules.
  • Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings and negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues.
  • Mentor and review work for existing TOA Junior Accountants.

Key Skills:

  • Graduate of Accountancy or Accounting Technology; Advantage if CPA licensed.
  • Has total of more than 4 years accounting and tax experience wherein 4+ year of experiences in AU tax accounting.
  • Leadership capabilities and interested in leading the team in the future.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Attentive to details and organized.
