Seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper and Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in bookkeeping and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage financial records, prepare taxes, and provide expert advice on financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients
    • Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements
    • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss reports and balance sheets
  • Tax Preparation and Compliance:
    • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small businesses
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines
    • Advise clients on tax-saving strategies and financial planning to minimize tax liabilities
  • Financial Analysis and Planning:
    • Analyze clients' financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
    • Provide recommendations for budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
  • Client Consultation and Support:
    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial situation and tax obligations
    • Address client inquiries and provide solutions related to tax and bookkeeping issues
  • Administrative Support:
    • Organize and maintain financial documents and ensure they are readily available for audits or reviews
    • Collaborate with other team members to support overall financial operations
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required
