Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading the development of community engagement strategies, promoting effective communication with contributors and stakeholders. As a Community Engagement Manager, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that only the most up-to-date procedures are followed when communicating with contributors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote strategic communication plans to lead, coordinate, and monitor interactions with the community
  • Liaise with Technology Development, Delivery, and Marketing departments as a key stakeholder to provide requirements and follow-up on deliveries
  • Set and manage community member expectations while actively improving the community experience
  • Develop sourcing strategies to reach project targets based on past data and research
  • Perform root cause analysis for community escalations and propose corrective actions
  • Prepare insights for presentations regarding community performance for internal and external customers
  • Implement strategies for building and maintaining a large, engaged community
  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage goals
  • Participate in the onboarding process for newcomers and act as a point of contact for all community engagement processes
  • Identify and track relevant community metrics
  • Plan and organize community satisfaction surveys, converting results into actionable insights
  • Review delivery communication metrics and workflows, making adjustments as necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate important updates both verbally and in writing
  • High-level interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and ambitious goals
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills – ability to analyze situations and plan and implement solutions
  • Excellent coordination and resource-planning skills
  • Proficiency and experience with online platform development stages, collecting requirements, and testing
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proactive and able to flag possible risks in assignments and identify solutions
  • Established competency in the use of business applications and collaboration tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in customer-focused positions
  • Fluency in a language other than English
