About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior GL Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange.

Job Description

The Senior GL Accountant will be responsible for certain month-end close, reconciliation and reporting procedures. This includes reviewing and preparing monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries, as well as performing day-to-day accounting processes and procedures relating to fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals.

Additional responsibilities include performing tasks associated with the general ledger, such as entering monthly journal entries, performing monthly reconciliations and account analysis for designated balance sheet accounts and certain operating accounts, and reviewing daily bank activities and preparing JEs for bank reconciliations.

The Senior GL Accountant will also assist on quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors, and facilitate PBCs for external and internal auditors. Other duties may include preparing monthly BS & P/L Fluxes, assisting with technical accounting as needed, and performing additional tasks as requested.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5 years of General Ledger experience.
  • Strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange required.
  • NetSuite experience highly desirable.
