Accounting Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant. This role will be an integral part of our client's accounting operations, supporting the monthly close, financial reporting, and technical accounting processes.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in driving process improvements, automation, and compliance initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing month-end journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and company policies
  • Performing trend analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing explanations for fluctuations
  • Driving process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls
  • Supporting annual financial statement and statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including FP&A, FinOps, Tax, Legal, IT, HR, Payments, and Facilities
  • Assisting in implementing new accounting policies and maintaining proper documentation
  • Handling ad-hoc accounting requests and projects as needed

Requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in public accounting and/or industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany, equity, and financial reporting
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP system preferred
