Backend Developer Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. This role will involve developing high-scale and data-rich Golang applications, as well as working with distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Create efficient and effective Golang backend components using high-scale data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders within engineering to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Craft code that meets style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment.
  • Work with other teams to integrate monitoring and insights features into their products.
  • Develop features and improvements to the product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
  • Solve complex technical problems.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience with Golang and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong database skills and interest in ClickHouse databases.
  • Experience working with complex applications and platforms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD or other internal tooling.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience analyzing metrics and developing automation scripts.
  • Background in Golang preferred.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters a plus.
