Job Summary

As a Senior QA Automation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the quality assurance strategy across teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our web and software products.

Leading the QA Automation team in defining and implementing testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices is a critical component of this role. You will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reusable automated test scripts that simulate end-to-end user interactions across platforms.

Monitoring automation test coverage and execution results, ensuring issues are identified early and release cycles are efficient and reliable, requires strong analytical skills. You will also be responsible for reviewing test results and quality metrics, preparing leadership-level reports and recommendations for quality improvements and risk mitigation.

Maintaining and enhancing the automation framework, testing tools, and CI/CD integrations to support continuous testing is essential for success in this position. Additionally, mentoring QA engineers and fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the QA team will be crucial to your success.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle and release workflows is key to delivering high-quality products. Proactively identifying gaps in quality processes and leading initiatives for operational excellence and innovation in QA practices will also be a critical aspect of your job.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts
  • Monitor automation test coverage and execution results
  • Review test results and quality metrics, prepare leadership-level reports
  • Maintain and enhance the automation framework, testing tools, and CI/CD integrations
  • Mentor QA engineers, foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years experience in manual and automation testing, and at least 1 year experience in leading a team
  • Development and execution of test plans and scenarios
  • Experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Robot Framework
  • Testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms
  • Source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
