Job Overview

This is a high-volume customer service position that requires efficient, productive and thorough communication with clients over the phone.

As a key component in customer satisfaction, you will have responsibility for making every contact informative, productive and positive for our members and providers.

  • You will be responsible for managing member cases, providing education on program benefits and services, and helping to resolve inquiries from members and/or providers.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage intake of members or admission/discharge information post notification.
  2. Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and clinical teams to manage requests for services from members and/or providers.
  3. Process incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles.
  4. Provide triage and care coordination notification cases for non-clinical assessment/intervention.
  5. Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
  • Ability to create, edit, save and send documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to type and talk at the same time and navigate through multiple screens.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within the healthcare industry and with healthcare insurance.
  • Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services.
  • Experience working in metric-driven work environments.
  • Call center experience.
  • Clerical or administrative support background.
