Electrical Estimator Position

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Electrical Estimator who can accurately interpret architectural and electrical drawings to prepare precise estimates for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.


The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and can efficiently translate drawings into accurate takeoffs and cost estimates. The successful candidate will collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform takeoffs and cost estimates using software such as Planswift or Bluebeam.
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans, to identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates.
Requirements
  • Proficiency with estimation software such as Planswift or Bluebeam.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects.
  • Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.
  • Knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent spoken and written English skills.
