We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accounting Specialist.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about accounting and has a strong background in financial management, with experience handling US books or under IFRS.

As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting tasks, from daily entries to month-end close, and contributing to operational decisions.

You will work closely with our team to learn our accounting systems, manage cash flow forecasts, and analyze and reconcile AP/AR aging and vendor ledgers.

Additionally, you will generate job costing and gross profit reports, post month-end journal entries and accruals, and close month-end books and bank transactions.

We are looking for someone who is detail-obsessed, self-directed, and accountable, with strong English communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably handling US books or under IFRS, and a degree in Accounting required. CPA is highly preferred.

Requirements
  • 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably handling US books or under IFRS
  • Degree in Accounting required; CPA is highly preferred

  • Self-directed and accountable — owns mistakes, fixes them, learns fast
  • Comfortable taking ownership of processes and mentoring junior team members as the role expands
