We are seeking an experienced SMSF expert to support our clients with self-managed superannuation fund accounting and compliance.

This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled accountant to work on complex financial projects, including annual statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial statements and compliance documents for SMSFs
  • Processing fund transactions, including contributions, pensions, and investments
  • Ensuring adherence to ATO regulations and superannuation laws
  • Collaborating with senior accountants and managers to finalise SMSF work
  • Assisting client managers with queries and reporting

The ideal candidate will have 3-4+ years' experience in SMSF accounting within an Australian accounting firm. Strong knowledge of the SIS Act, ATO requirements, and SMSF compliance is essential.

A strong analytical mind, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently are also required. Experience with SMSF administration software is beneficial.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4+ years' experience in SMSF accounting within an Australian accounting firm
  • Strong knowledge of the SIS Act, ATO requirements, and SMSF compliance
  • Experience with SMSF administration software (Class Super, BGL, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure
