Financial Operations Associate

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) process.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in AP or AR, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Additionally, proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software, as well as strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and reports, are essential.

As a Financial Operations Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, and monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will also be expected to improve collection rates and optimize cash flow, collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve payment issues, generate and analyze AR/AP reports, aging summaries, and key metrics, and assist in audits with proper documentation and record-keeping.
