Job Overview

We are a leading provider of data and trading technology in the financial markets, serving a significant client base.

As a Network Systems Engineer, you will be working on handling all IT work, collaborating with teams, and managing vendor relationships.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including firewall security and user VPN for remote environments.
  • Collaborate with teams to facilitate connectivity, access, and permissions to various applications.
  • Work on IT projects with the director, including new proposals and reporting.
  • Partner with DevOps/support teams to resolve issues.
Required Skills and Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as an IT staff member, preferably with third-party vendor management.
  • System administration proficiency in main Linux OS flavors: Red Hat/CentOS, Ubuntu.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Networking expertise, including FortiGate setup and static routing.
  • IT automation using technologies like Ansible.
Advantageous Qualifications
  • Leadership experience working with development groups.
  • Infrastructure maintenance skills: LAMP.
  • Monitoring and configuration management expertise: Nagios, Centreon, Zabbix; Puppet, Chef, Salt.
  • RHCE certificate and advanced networking troubleshooting skills.
