Job Title: Home-Based Accounting Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Home-Based Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our organization, you will be responsible for handling core accounting responsibilities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, royalty reporting, and financial support tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Enter all supplier invoices into QuickBooks to ensure accurate tracking and timely payments.
  • Prepare weekly check runs based on cash flow forecasts to maintain efficient financial operations.
  • Generate client invoices upon order completion to ensure timely billing and revenue recognition.
  • Conduct routine collection follow-ups and issue past-due notices and statements to maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Manage royalty entry and submissions to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements to provide stakeholders with accurate financial information.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of all accounting transactions to maintain financial integrity.
  • Perform general clerical support and resolve accounting issues as assigned to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to demonstrate academic excellence and professional competence.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience in a professional setting to showcase your expertise and adaptability.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks to streamline accounting processes and enhance productivity.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general Office Suite proficiency (Word, Outlook) to perform data analysis and administrative tasks.
