Chief Financial Records Specialist

This is a full-time independent contractor opportunity that requires a dedicated individual to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP, and experience with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly closing procedures.
- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant inventory management systems.
- Handle invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely billing and collection.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members regarding financial matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience in a US accounting firm, with a focus on e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), G Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
