Job Overview

Gartner seeks a Finance and Technology Strategist to provide business and technology insights to CFO clients worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have experience helping CFOs build and execute a finance technology strategy and roadmap, accelerating ERP systems to the cloud.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the challenges CFOs face during cloud ERP transformation, including strategy, readiness, deployment, and post-go-live phases. They will also be familiar with the embedded AI capabilities of vendors and innovative ideas for leveraging ERP applications in finance functions.

As a subject matter expert, you will advise CFO clients and publish research on topics such as ERP transformation, AI in ERP, building a finance technology strategy, and executing a finance technology roadmap. You will work collaboratively with a team of experienced analysts to deliver high-quality advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations and discussions with clients.

To thrive in this role, you must be passionate about finance technology and the power of cloud ERP. You should have a strong working knowledge of the latest trends, innovations, and vendor capabilities in finance technology and cloud ERP software markets, including AI capabilities. Experience working closely with CFOs and senior finance leaders is also essential.

  • Provide strategic guidance to CFO clients on finance technology initiatives.
  • Work with a collaborative team of analysts to deliver high-quality advice through presentations and discussions with clients.
  • Remain up-to-date across cloud ERP business case development, vendor evaluation and selection, embedded AI vendor capabilities, program governance, implementation, go-live readiness, and post-go-live management.
