Technical Documentation Specialist Role

This role is responsible for creating and maintaining user-friendly documentation to support the Communications API and Design System. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing technical content and collaborating with engineering teams to gather complex information.

The Technical Documentation Specialist will own and manage the API documentation, ensuring it follows a consistent format and meets customer expectations. They will also write engaging content that transforms complex technical information into accessible and delightful content.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Engage with developers to gain a deep understanding of the Communications API and supporting products.
  • Collaborate with the developer community to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Own and manage the API documentation.
  • Write user-friendly content that transforms complex technical information into something accessible and engaging.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience - 4-7 Yrs.
    • Experience writing technical documentation for multiple audiences.
    • Experience working with engineering teams to gather complex technical information and communicating this through written copy.
    • Ability to present insights and data clearly and concisely.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and grammatical communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Experience using APIs or writing content for API documentation.
    • Prior development experience in any front-end or back-end languages.
