We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Records Specialist to join our team at Workscale Resources Inc. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
This role involves handling general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting processes. You will also assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and payroll entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Financial Analysis & Budgeting:
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Support financial analysis and budgeting activities.
- Ensure that all financial transactions comply with company policies and accounting principles.
Tax & Compliance Support:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax reports (VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
- Ensure accurate computation and remittance of government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Support audits by preparing necessary documents and reports.
Administrative & Accounting Support:
- Assist in managing petty cash and processing employee reimbursements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and clients regarding invoicing and payment processing.
- Provide support to the accounting team for financial analysis and budgeting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and government compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping for a manpower agency, events management, or service-based business.
- Familiarity with BIR tax filings and government contributions.
