Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

The role of Financial Planning and Analysis Lead is crucial in supporting strategic decisions and resource allocation. As a key member of the leadership team, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to drive process improvements and implement automation.

This position requires collaboration with senior leadership to provide financial insights and partner with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business strategy. You will be responsible for managing commissions processes, sales pipeline reporting, and prequalification analysis.

As a seasoned leader, you will oversee the implementation of automation using tools like NetSuite and Power BI. Your expertise in using ERP and analytics tools will be essential in driving efficiency and scalability within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, ROI modeling, and scenario analysis
  • Analyze financial performance and variances, and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and IT teams to align financial planning with business strategy
  • Manage commissions processes, sales pipeline reporting, and prequalification analysis
  • Partner with IT to implement automation and enhanced financial reporting using NetSuite, Power BI, and dashboards
  • Prepare and present concise financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis, ideally in a leadership or senior-level role
  • Experienced in using ERP and analytics tools
  • CPA or MBA certification is a plus
