Job Overview

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer plays a key role in designing and deploying scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

With expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, automation, and integration within CI/CD pipelines, this engineer ensures secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure by leveraging DevOps automation and robust authentication and access controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Load Balancing.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure state management and version control.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to automate infrastructure deployment, testing, and monitoring.
  • Deploy and manage VPN servers such as OpenVPN, IPSec, and GCP-native VPN to provide secure remote access for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Implement and manage authentication and access controls including OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, RBAC, and identity federation integrated with cloud IAM.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance issues proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of five to ten years of experience in technology environments with enterprise-scale infrastructure support.
  • Deep understanding of Java-based applications and enterprise-scale system deployment models.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Load Balancing.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, automation, versioning, and integration within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Skilled in GitLab for source control, CI/CD automation, and lifecycle management.
  • Experienced in authentication and access control including OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, RBAC, and identity federation.
  • Well-versed in IAM policies, compliance frameworks, and infrastructure security.
  • Skilled in VPN server management including OpenVPN, IPSec, and GCP-native VPN.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM policies, compliance frameworks, and infrastructure security.
  • Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to performance and reliability improvements.
