Purchasing Officer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Purchasing Officer to lead our procurement efforts and ensure seamless operations.
Job Summary:
The Purchasing Officer is responsible for procuring goods and services at the best possible prices while meeting company requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery criteria.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable deals.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Google Workspace.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
