Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide support for MongoDB across Asia. This role requires 7+ years of experience in MongoDB installation, configuration, and administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup, and recovery of MongoDB databases
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of MongoDB clusters on-premise and Atlas
  • Evaluate, plan, and perform MongoDB major/minor upgrades
  • Scaling MongoDB across data centers and/or in-depth understanding of MongoDB, including replica sets and schema using Mongos
  • Backup & recovery, database optimization, hardening, and security maintenance
  • Backup and restore databases and collections between environments using Mongo utilities

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in MongoDB and database administration
  • Hands-on experience in production support with standalone, replication, sharding, and clustering
  • Experience in upgrading database versions, migrating data across multiple databases/MongoDB Atlas, and performing CRUD operations
  • Strong experience in query tuning, performance optimization, and data realignments
  • Knowledge of managing MongoDB clusters using Mongo's OpsManager
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures; monitor their effectiveness
