We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Engineering Manager. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about web and software development, as well as soft skills such as communication and collaboration.

  • As our ideal candidate, you will be knowledgeable in sound engineering principles, with the ability to estimate work, set goals, and meet them.
  • You will design and implement well-tested and documented software in Web technologies or Flutter.
  • Debugging and fixing issues encountered by users will also be an essential part of your role.
  • Additionally, you will participate in our engineering process through code and architectural reviews, collaborate with community and colleagues on technical specifications, and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the success of our product through technical advocacy and seek improvements to engineering and operations practices.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional academic track records from both high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about their alternative path.
  • Experience designing and writing high-quality Web technologies.
  • Experience with Typescript, React, or Flutter.
  • Professional written and spoken English.
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
  • Passion, thoughtfulness, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments.

Nice-to-have skills include experience with container tech, building and maintaining a talented team, REST API design, performance engineering, and security.

With this role comes the opportunity to travel twice a year for company events.
