JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SENIOR FULL-STACK WEB DEVELOPERYour Responsibilities as a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer:

• Lead challenging projects and be responsible for all aspects of the SoftwareDevelopment Lifecycle
• Understand the business needs and translate them to technical requirements
• Exhibit good front-end and back-end skills in building and maintaining applications
• Make key decisions on the overall stack and software design of projects
• Design and suggest user interfaces paired with sound UX principles
• Collaborate with team members practicing different agile methodologies for software
• development
• Build and maintain production-level software applications which include implementing responsive and interactive user interfaces
• Developing reliable backend modules and/or APIs and making key database decisions

Qualifications as a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer:

• Ability to architect full stack projects from scratch
• Ability to lead and mentor other technical staff
• Ability to design software with production-ready software engineering standards
• Proficiency in Javascript frameworks such as ReactJS and Express
• Knowledge of standard API methodologies such as REST and/or GraphQL
• Knowledge of working with Postgres and/or Mongo databases
• Ability to navigate in a Linux environment
• Eye for great-looking and intuitive web applications
• Passion for writing clean and maintainable code
• Willingness to learn and adapt to technologies deemed as the "best tool for the job"
• Proficiency in Python, bash scripting, and Docker
• Knowledge of Apollo and Nest is a plus
• Hands-on experience in working with event-based architectures
• Ability to navigate on an AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure ecosystem
• Familiarity with production deployment and CI/CD
• Knowledge of mitigating common security vulnerabilities in cloud-based products
