Join a pioneering team that revolutionizes text-to-speech technology.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise as a skilled Software Engineer and be part of the Data Infrastructure & Acquisition team. Your role will involve building and maintaining all backend services, including payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text to speech, and external APIs. We are looking for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

  • We prioritize delivering value with speed, learning as much as we can, and making our users feel empowered.
  • You'll collaborate closely with scientists to deliver richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.

This position requires:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.

About this Role

As a mid-senior level software engineer, you will be responsible for building high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. You'll work closely with the AI team and Speechify leadership to craft the dataset roadmap to power our next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
