Job Opportunity:

A leading organization seeks a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering and maintaining top-tier IT solutions. As a key member of the team, you will leverage your extensive experience to provide expert technical guidance and support across both project implementations and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as escalation point for the resolution of complex technical incidents and problems from the Service Desk and Key stakeholders
  • Identify Hosting requirements and promote them into the Strategy & Architecture team for design, build and delivery
  • Engage with Project teams to ensure Operational Acceptance Criteria are clearly established and that services transition into operational use occurs in a sustainable and secure manner
  • Develop and maintain key documentation including as-built, knowledge articles, and drive good housekeeping regarding documentation, maintenance schedules and best practices
  • Take a leading role in the management of Hosting suppliers to ensure they deliver to SLA and escalate where necessary
  • Provide support to the Hosting Services Team Leader and Manager, acting as his 2IC when required
  • Adhere to incident, Problem, and Change management processes as per organizational standards and within SLAs
Requirements:
  • 10 years of work experience (combination of operations and implementation)
  • Hands-on experience on Microsoft Azure; Microsoft Server 2016 or above – Admin and Management (Troubleshooting, installation, decommissioning, and server build)
  • Experience working in ISO governed or similar environments
  • Strong Project implementation experience
  • Microsoft Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Site Services, and Group Policy) – Admin and Management, Microsoft Exchange 2016 or above
  • VMware vSphere 7.0 or above
  • Backup and Storage management; Vulnerability and Patch management
  • Background in using ServiceNow
  • Industry Standard Certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, VMware, Azure, etc.) is a plus
