We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Senior Cloud Application Developer.

This is a technical client-facing position that will be accountable for the end-to-end client cloud application development using Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, and related technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in client-facing roles, success leading technical discussions with senior executives, and a strong understanding of Power Platform licensing, Office 365 security, and data modeling within Dataverse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy Azure-based solutions that meet client value and success working with project teams.
  • Implement solutions in Microsoft Azure that meet the client's needs for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Translate requirements into technical design leveraging existing tools, services, and frameworks.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and their impact on cloud solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Power Apps.
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform licensing and capacity assignment/consumption.
  • Knowledge of Standard vs Premium connectors.
  • Office 365 security and Power Apps user security.
  • Determination of Model-driven vs Canvas apps based on business requirements.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and its relationship to Power platform.
  • Data modeling within Dataverse.
  • Understanding of transactional and reporting data repositories.
  • Ability to provide guidance and recommendations on reporting best practices regarding Dataverse vs Reporting Data Repository.
  • Understanding of performance optimization with on-premises data vs Dataverse.
  • Designing intuitive user interfaces.
  • Development of Power Automate workflows for backend processing.
  • Some experience/exposure to Power BI reporting.
  • Creation of Power Platform custom connectors.
  • Software development expertise outside of the Power Platform.
  • Web/client-side library development.
