**Job Title:** Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer networks.

Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting issues with Windows OS and networking infrastructure. You will collaborate with vendors to resolve escalated issues related to third-party software support. Additionally, you will manage network infrastructure, maintain server and workstation systems, and provide exceptional customer service to clients.

To succeed in this position, you should have a strong value system, proven experience in systems administration, and excellent technical skills in server management, networking, and troubleshooting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A passion for continuous learning and growth is also crucial.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, deploy, and manage all aspects of small to mid-sized business computer networks, software systems, and infrastructure.
  • Advanced and escalated troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows servers, workstation operating systems, and network issues.
  • Facilitate vendor support for third-party software to solve escalated issues.
  • Plan and deploy server, network, and workstation installations, upgrades, and network refreshes.
  • Address higher-level concerns in various-sized environments, from small single-site to large multi-site networks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-4 years of full workstation support with troubleshooting Windows OS (Windows 8.1 to 11), including peripherals such as printers and scanners.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in systems administration or a related field.
  • Network experience, including firewalls (SonicWall preferred but other technologies like WatchGuard, Meraki, etc. are welcome).
  • Experience with smart switches, access points, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2008+ and server OS management, administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and supporting services (DNS, DHCP, File & Print Sharing).
  • Proficiency with Hyper-V and VMware hypervisors.
  • Knowledge of multiple network operating systems, protocols, security best practices, and implementation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and cloud management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to grasp abstract concepts quickly and apply them in troubleshooting without step-by-step instructions.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Proactive and outgoing personality with a willingness to take on new challenges and continuous learning.
