Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Professional Job Opportunity

This role involves working as part of a global team to support the National Capital Region project. The job holder will be responsible for providing OHS advisory services and data/reporting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead in improving performance reporting and IT tool effectiveness on the project.
  • Provide OHS advice for office operations.
  • Serve as main point of contact for HSE IT data and system administration.
  • Collect and report local HSE and sustainability metrics in a timely manner.
  • Analyze performance trends, track KPIs, and assist in dashboard creation and management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of processes.
  • Track actions and incident closures; assist teams with evidence verification.
  • Provide data for leading and lagging indicators to internal and external customers.
  • Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly OHS reports as required.
  • Support regional OHS teams and act as regional point of contact.
  • Maintain OHS registers and site reporting.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong computer literacy, attention to detail, and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of health and safety management systems desirable.
  • Ability to set up documentation systems for leadership, employees, and contractors.
  • Experience in data retrieval, collection, compilation, and reporting using HSE management systems desirable.
  • Ability to influence safe behaviors through relationships and engagement.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
