Senior Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial planning and analysis of our business.

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing budgets, forecasts, and P&L management for different businesses and functions. They will track performance vs. budgets, explain variances, and prepare financial performance presentations for senior management and board meetings.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze new project initiatives from an economic perspective
  • Query, analyze, and present data
  • Develop income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows based on assumptions
  • Investigate complex analysis to key business take-aways
  • Work across multiple channels to assist in ad-hoc projects involving M&A analysis, pricing, revenue analysis, process mapping, and improvement, and developing/maintaining financial models and system implementation
  • Evaluate processes to drive efficiencies to deliver improved financial performance
  • Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalate appropriately

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting (Masters/MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Financial Analysis/Accounting preferred
