Role Overview

The role is to lead the CISO capability in Manila. As an IT Area Lead, you are responsible for managing this domain and working with your team, Shared IT (Area) Leads, and Global CISO Leads to provide services such as staffing, professional, and end-to-end sourcing from chapters under your leadership.

You are expected to work on short and long-term resource and capability planning to match demand. All services must be provided in line with One Agile Way of Working and comply with ING's core values and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and healthy team environment
  • Build and maintain a team of IT security professionals, engineers, and business & control specialists
  • Keep staff retention levels better than the market
  • Manage hybrid work setup and ensure engagement, involvement, and contribution from the team
  • Talent recognition and proactive development and coaching of all staff
  • Work with peer leaders to ensure balanced rotation and address challenges timely
  • Ensure HR processes are done completely and timely
  • Be a role model and ensure Orange Code compliance

Service Delivery and Support

  • Ensure resources allocation across the organization to get commitments done
  • Maintain great relationship with stakeholders
  • Conduct service and delivery review and manage threats and opportunities
  • Optimize and improve service and delivery processes
  • Ensure all staff have right skills and fully allocated to consuming entities

Security and Compliance

  • Manage assets in scope as per ING Risk Management model
  • ING standards and regulatory requirements are followed
  • ING security and other control mechanisms are implemented
