Accounting Leader Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare and analyze the three core financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve financial control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
  • Manage vendor invoicing, collections, payroll, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow report to support liquidity management.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
  • Provide scenario analysis and cash flow projections to management.
  • Experience supporting external audits of company accounts is valued.

Tax & Compliance:

  • Prepare and file U.S. corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • Manage Singapore tax filings (corporate income tax, GST) with external advisors.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in a Big 4 Accounting firm, ideally in a managerial or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge or willingness to learn is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with U.S. tax law (Singapore tax experience a plus).
  • Familiarity with audit processes is a plus.
  • Controller-level experience is a strong advantage.
