
Financial Operations Specialist

This position requires a detail-oriented and adaptable individual with experience in bookkeeping and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain accurate financial records, streamline transaction processing, and support key automation initiatives using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial tools like Bill.com.
The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for:
- Maintaining an organized and up-to-date general ledger
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Managing retail-specific bookkeeping needs, including inventory tracking, cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) allocations, and POS system integration
- Providing retail accounting support, including assisting with the financial nuances of jewelry sales, returns, and vendor purchasing
- Processing and managing vendor payments efficiently using Bill.com
The successful candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a retail or e-commerce setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and experience using Bill.com
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
