Project Management Professional

At our organization, we are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of software development projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects from planning to deployment, ensuring timely completion, and meeting budget and scope expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, particularly in software development frameworks like PHP and Laravel. They should also be well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies and have experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Tracking and managing project progress using various tools and metrics.
  • Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and ensuring Agile best practices are followed.
  • Identifying project risks, creating mitigation strategies, and resolving issues proactively.
  • Coordinating resource allocation and monitoring team performance for efficient execution.
  • Communicating project updates and status reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong technical foundation in software development, with proficiency in PHP and Laravel frameworks.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with effective people management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
